Randy Woods

Writer and editor Randy Woods, who recently joined the ranks of Seattle's "underemployed" after a January 2009 layoff, has been on more job interviews and filed more employment applications than he can count. A freelancer for various publications, including "Seattle Business" and "PhotoMedia," he has honed his job-searching skills via local networking organizations and has become a veteran of Facebook and LinkedIn. A Maryland native, Randy relocated to Seattle from "the other Washington" in 1997 and considers it his best-ever career move. He lives in Ballard with his wife, a calligraphy artist and fellow film buff.
