EVERETT -- Larimer Highlands is a community of view homes located east of Mill Creek and priced from the $300,000s.

The 82-home neighborhood was built by Pacific Ridge Homes and sits on a hill overlooking the Snohomish River Valley. The homes are nestled among tall trees and winding streets, and dozens of the homesites are located next to a greenbelt.

Sales have been brisk at Larimer highlands, where 18 homes have sold since last month's grand opening.

"We've had a lot of excitement about this new community," says Heather Andreini, the listing agent for Larimer Highlands. "People love the location, and the views are amazing."

The homes at Larimer Highlands range in size from 1,664 to 3,399 square feet and feature three to six bedrooms. There are 20 floor plans, and Andreini says buyers can choose from thousands of customizable options to put their own individual touches on their new homes.

Pacific Ridge Homes has unveiled several new floor plans for the community. The Chelan II has dual master suites -- one on the main floor and one on the second floor.

The Glacier features a large bedroom and three-quarter bath on the main floor, a full master suite upstairs and a three-car garage.

"Every home here comes with the Pacific Ridge Premier Package of features," Andreini says. "Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, gas fireplaces, extensive hardwood flooring, rounded drywall corners, and tile countertops in the master bath are all standard on every home."

Forced-air natural-gas heat, 40-gallon gas water heaters, double-pane vinyl windows and a programmable thermostat all maximize each home's energy efficiency. State-of-the-art wiring and networking cables are also standard throughout each home, and every family room is wired for a wall-mounted flat-screen television.

"These standard features and amenities can be costly upgrades in homes from other builders," Andreini says. "You get a lot of home for your money at Larimer Highlands."

The neighborhood is a short drive from shopping, dining and entertainment at Mill Creek Town Center and Silver Firs Center. The location offers convenient access to Interstate 5.

"We are seeing all types of buyers interested in Larimer Highlands," Andreini says. "Microsoft, Google and other technology professionals, Boeing engineers and workers, families with children and empty nesters looking for a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with easy access to Seattle and Everett have all been very impressed."

Eleven homes are currently available for quick move-in. All are being offered with zero closing costs through Pacific Ridge Homes' preferred lending partners.
