MILL CREEK -- Following another sale earlier this month, the number of homes remaining for sale at Northpointe has been reduced to five. The community's duplexes and single-family homes have three, four or five bedrooms, and floor plans can be customized by the homebuyer.

The homes at Northpointe are built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers Company. Buyers can choose from three floor plans, each with three exterior elevation options. Of the five remaining homes, three are duplexes and two are single-family homes. To maximize privacy, the only shared walls in the duplex homes are at the attached garages.

All of the remaining homes are under construction, which allows buyers to personalize their spaces through CamWest's CamYes! program.

"When we purchased our home it was just framed and was originally a four-bedroom design," says Ryan Nelson, who lives at Northpointe with his wife, Katie. "But because we didn't need the fourth bedroom, they knocked down a wall between bedrooms to make a large bonus room. Most homebuilders wouldn't do that for a buyer."

Northpointe is a 15-minute drive from Everett's Boeing plant and 20 minutes from Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Convenient access is available to Interstates 5 and 405 and Highway 9.

"Mill Creek has a small-town feel, which appeals to our homeowners -- the people who live here are very involved in the community," says Northpointe listing agent Tana Lehman. "In addition, Mill Creek Elementary School serves our neighborhood, which is a big draw for home-owners with school-age children. They want their kids to be in that school. It received 10 out of 10 stars on greatschools.com."

Northpointe home-owners can walk to a nearby shopping center for groceries, coffee or gelato. Mill Creek Town Center is a five-minute drive away. The open-air shopping village includes stores and restaurants such as Central Market, University Book Store, De Vine Wines, Azul Restaurant and Lounge, Kafé Neo and La Palmera.

"Our homeowners love going to Mill Creek Town Center for a bite to eat at one of the popular restaurants there, and to support the local businesses," Lehman says. "It serves as a community hub, hosting events like a summer concert series."

Mill Creek has 11 parks, including one within the Northpointe neighborhood. The park serves as the community's collective backyard and is the site for community celebrations, according to Nelson.

"Our own yard is small -- which we prefer because we don't want to spend our free time on yard work -- so the park is a great amenity," he says. "The Fourth of July block party is held there. We'll wheel down our barbecue and put up a volleyball net and hang out with our neighbors.

"We've also met friends out there for a glass of wine on a nice evening. In fact, we get together with our neighbors at least once a week for barbecues or dinners. We've met some of our best friends in the community."

Toll Brothers is among the nation's leading builders of luxury homes. Its recent purchase of CamWest Development, LLC -- which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years -- expands the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1967, Toll Brothers is now building homes in 20 states.

Toll Brothers was rated No. 1 in 2011 and 2010 for Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment and Quality of Products/Services in the homebuilding category of Fortune magazine's annual World's Most Admired Companies survey.
