SNOQUALMIE -- A mountain-view hamlet tucked into the foothills of the Cascades, Kimball Creek features a collection of 76 single-family homes and townhomes priced from the upper $200,000s.
The town-center-inspired neighborhood surrounds a community park and is close to a retail center that offers restaurants and services.
"You can grab a bite to eat at the retail village at the entry of Kimball Creek or walk over to Salish Lodge," says Dennis Schauls, community sales manager. "We're also just a short distance to Snoqualmie's historic downtown. Add to that our incredible price point starting in the upper $200,000s, and it's an amazing opportunity for buyers who act quickly."
Schauls says the intimate neighborhood has a diverse selection of home types, which adds to the villagelike atmosphere.
"In addition to the single-family homes and traditional townhomes, we have live/work townhome designs, which are zoned to allow for a home business on the lower level -- they're very unique in this area," he says.
The community has three model homes to tour of various designs, including one that is newly furnished.
Tim Breaux, Kimball Creek project manager, says one single-family home and five townhomes -- including one carriage-style plan -- are complete and ready for move-in. Additional single-family homes and townhomes are available for presale.
"The duplex homes are very thoughtfully designed; the only shared wall is at the garage," says Schauls.
Breaux says the quality of the homes is one of the top reasons buyers say they chose Kimball Creek.
"They're also thrilled with the interior finishes," he says. "Hardwoods are included throughout the main floor, and kitchens feature granite counters."
Breaux helps homebuyers customize their home immediately after they make a purchase.
"We work with them from day one to build the home the way they want it; it's a very rewarding experience for me," he says. "I enjoy the customer interaction."
That one-on-one service is the philosophy of the homebuilder, CamWest, a Toll Brothers company. Its customer service program, CamYes!, gives buyers the freedom to customize beyond the traditional color palettes and lighting packages.
CamWest has a strong focus on how its homeowners want to live. Before the community breaks ground, consideration is given to elements such as light and views.
"Before we begin construction, we will make sure that we are capturing the best-possible outlooks; we'll reposition the houses, if necessary, or add more windows," Breaux says.
The move-in-ready single-family home offers three levels of living space, including a daylight basement.
"The townhomes live like single-family homes," says Schauls. "One of the townhome designs has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which gives incredible versatility to owners."
Kimball Creek's park includes play equipment, benches, picnic tables and a trail that connects the community to Snoqualmie Ridge's network of trails.
Snoqualmie Ridge amenities include restaurants, shops, a grocery store and a golf course. In addition, the community is in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.
"Kimball Creek is a straight 2.3-mile shot to I-90, and we're about 17 miles to downtown Bellevue and 11 miles to the Issaquah Microsoft campus," says Schauls. "Plus, keep in mind that the stretch of I-90 between here and Issaquah is 70 miles per hour, which makes for an even quicker commute."
Toll Brothers is among the nation's leading builders of luxury homes. Its recent purchase of CamWest Development, LLC -- which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years -- expands the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1967, Toll Brothers is now building homes in 20 states.
Toll Brothers was rated No. 1 in 2011 and 2010 for Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment and Quality of Products/Services in the homebuilding category of Fortune magazine's annual World's Most Admired Companies survey.
