AUBURN -- Gary Garabedian, the sales representative at Woodbrook North, says there's too much riding on a new-home purchase for buyers to settle for anything less than genuine craftsmanship.
That's why he wants guests to know the community's two-level homes with three- and four-bedroom designs are "all about the real deal."
Built by Schneider Homes, Woodbrook North celebrates its grand opening this weekend. The community is located on a sidewalk-edged lane on Auburn's West Hill and is within minutes of Interstate 5 and state Route 167.
Woodbrook North's Cascade vistas and natural greenbelts create a relaxing tone, which extends to the homes' interiors, Garabedian says.
"For Woodbrook North homebuyers, it's about using real materials and authentic craftsmanship," he says. "We've placed a lot of focus on certain items. Where a lot of local builders are using laminate finishes, Schneider Homes is using real hardwood floors and granite countertops."
Garabedian says presale buyers have expressed "how real it all is: real oak hardwood flooring, real maple cabinets, and real slab granite countertops in the kitchen and master bath. Not to mention the real savings they are going to see with each Energy Star-rated home's 95-percent-efficiency forced-air gas furnace and tankless water-heating system."
Three of the 30 homes planned at Woodbrook North have been sold, and three others are under construction.
Kitchens feature GE stainless steel appliances and Shaker-style cabinets with soft-close drawers. Doors are accented by crown molding, and select plans include walk-in pantries and additional nook-style eating areas.
In the family room, a gas fireplace is framed by slab granite and capped by a wood mantle. Select plans also feature built-in entertainment niches.
Upstairs, the master-bedroom suite offers a walk-in closet with a wardrobe shelving system. The five-piece master bath has a ceramic-tile-wrapped soaking tub, separate shower with glass door, double-sink vanity with granite countertops, and oiled-bronze-finish bath fixtures.
Garabedian says early homebuyers especially like the floor plans that include a guest bedroom with its own bath on the main floor. "One-third of our plans offer this," he says.
"Schneider Homes is creating plans designed to succeed for homebuyers. Our buyers are especially impressed that we can do this with plans that are 1,900 to 2,300 square feet, but feel so much larger because of all the attention to design and detail."
Homes at Woodbrook North feature professionally landscaped front yards connected by a gate to fully fenced rear yards with covered patios for all-season use.
For a limited time, Woodbrook North is offering a $4,500 bonus toward closing costs, or a refrigerator, washer and dryer, when buyers finance their purchase through Schneider Homes' preferred lender.
