SNOQUALMIE -- The mountain-view community of Kimball Creek is selling its second phase of homes, which offers a variety of designs priced from $259,950.

The new phase comes on the heels of the neighborhood's Phase One sales campaign in 2012, during which 28 of the 85 homes were sold.

Built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company, Kimball Creek is located in the foothills of the Cascades outside the historic town of Snoqualmie. The community is less than 15 minutes from the trails of Mount Si and 35 minutes from the slopes of Snoqualmie Pass.

Kimball Creek has its own central park and an open-air retail center with restaurants and services, all within a cul-de-sac setting. Some of the homes available for sale have views of Mount Si and about half back to protected green spaces, which adds a mountain-retreat feel to the community, says Dennis Schauls, the listing agent at Kimball Creek.

"Kimball Creek is a perfect little urban village in a beautiful, quiet setting," he says. "Right in the center is a park with picnic tables and a play structure. I see kids out a lot at the park or riding their bikes, and homeowners walking their dogs on the trails. And because there is only one entry, the neighborhood is laid out as a big loop without a lot of outside traffic. Homeowners really enjoy the life here. It has a strong community feel."

Adding to the village-like atmosphere is Kimball Creek's selection of home designs, which ranges from single-family homes to townhomes -- including live/work townhomes.

"In our second phase, we have 26 single-family homes that will be ready for move-in as early as June. And townhomes can be ready for move-in as early as August," Schauls says.

Homebuyers can take advantage of the builder's customer-service program CamYes!, which includes options for customization beyond traditional color palettes and lighting packages.

"Our homeowners are looking for comfort and livability, and the [customization] program helps to keep them in control of how their house looks," Schauls says. "More importantly, it keeps them in control of their pocketbooks."

All of the homes include 10-year structural warranties that can be transferred if the owner sells the home during the covered period, which adds to the potential resale value.

One of Kimball Creek's trails connects the community to nearby Snoqualmie Ridge's network of trails. Homeowners can also take advantage of the master-planned community's amenities such as restaurants, shops, a grocery store and a golf course.

Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice. Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC -- which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years -- expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
