Eastside towers on track to sell out this year

BELLEVUE -- Fewer than 60 homes remain for sale at Bellevue Towers, and the project is on track to sell out later this year.

After selling 183 condominium homes in 2012, Bellevue Towers has closed 24 sales in the first two months of this year, and 21 more sales are pending. Nearly 90 percent of the 539 homes at Bellevue Towers have sold.

All of the project's one-bedroom and studio homes have sold. The remaining inventory consists of two-bedroom homes (most with a study or den) and a handful of penthouses, including the two top-floor penthouses. Each has four bedrooms and more than 6,000 square feet of living space.

"While the starting price for the remaining homes is $854,000, it is clear that demand for this price point is high," says Patrick Clark, principal of Realty Trust, the brokerage company marketing and selling the homes at Bellevue Towers. He points to the fact that the average price of the two-bedroom homes sold this year is $945,000.

"The level of sales activity year-to-date has continued to keep pace with 2012, even as we have sold through the most affordable homes already," Clark says. "With the recovery of the residential resale market, demand for the most premium homes at Bellevue Towers has continued to strengthen in recent months. Buyers have recognized the superb value offered at Bellevue Towers and are taking advantage of the diminishing opportunity to purchase a new home here."

Bellevue Towers has sold more than 340 homes since January 2011. Last year's 183 sales was more than the next five best-selling luxury condominium projects in the Bellevue-Seattle market combined.

Bellevue Towers consists of a 42-story North Tower and a 43-story South Tower. Each tower has its own lobby and concierge service, and shares an array of other amenities. In addition to an Urban Garden, residents have access to a private screening room, dining room with terrace and chef's kitchen, fitness center, spa, sun deck and a great room that opens to an outdoor terrace with a fireplace and barbecue grill.
