LYNNWOOD — At Canyon Gate, a hillside neighborhood of 14 homes, seven homes have sold since its February opening.
Built by Pacific Ridge Homes, the cul-de-sac community is located among fir and cedar trees and is five minutes from Interstates 5 and 405. Alderwood Mall is also a short drive away.
Canyon Gate offers a balance of lifestyle, luxury and location, which buyers value in a new-home neighborhood, says Cara Currey, the community's listing agent.
"Sales are already heating up here," she says. "Buyers are very excited about the location and the home plans at this exciting new community."
Six floor plans are available, as well as hundreds of upgrades and customizable options so buyers can add personal touches on their new homes.
"We're offering one of [the builder's] most popular and distinctive floor plans, the Chelan II, at Canyon Gate," Currey says. "This dual-master-suite plan features one master bedroom on the main floor plus another master bedroom upstairs."
The three- to six-bedroom homes at Canyon Gate are priced from the mid-$400,000s and range in size from 3,004 to 3,662 square feet. One home is ready for move-in, and two others are slated for completion in May.
Every home features the Pacific Ridge Premier Package, which includes stainless steel appliances, slab granite kitchen countertops, gas fireplaces, hardwood flooring, rounded drywall corners, and tile counters in the master baths.
"These standard Pacific Ridge features can be costly upgrades at other new-home communities," Currey says. "You truly get a lot of home for your money at Canyon Gate."
All homes include forced-air natural-gas heat, 40-gallon gas water heaters, double-pane vinyl windows and a programmable thermostat to maximize each home's energy efficiency. State-of-the-art wiring and networking cables are installed throughout each home, and every family room is prewired for a wall-mounted flat-screen television.
"Alderwood Mall -- with its shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities -- is a short drive away, and the easy access to the freeways brings big-city attractions conveniently close," Currey says.
