REDMOND — Each of the four remaining homes for sale at the Hazelwood community features its own unique design.
"The homes for sale feature four or five bedrooms and are two- or three-story plans, including two homes with daylight basements," says John L. Scott Real Estate's Jamie Ham, the listing agent at Hazelwood. "The fact that each of the available homes is different adds to Hazelwood's curb appeal. This isn't a cookie-cutter neighborhood. The homes vary in architectural style, which makes for a welcoming streetscape."
One of the daylight-basement homes is scheduled for completion in June. It features the Aspen plan, which has a basement with a bonus room, bedroom and adjacent full bath. The main living level has a great-room layout and includes a deck off of the breakfast nook.
"The home also backs to the neighborhood's greenbelt for added privacy," Ham says.
Homes with the Fairmont and Elderberry plans are also under construction and scheduled for completion later this summer.
A two-story, four-bedroom design, the Fairmont includes a great room, formal living room and guest bedroom with adjacent three-quarter bath on the main living level. "This home has a lot of flexibility," Ham says. "Upstairs is an open bonus room that can be used as a game or media room. And the guest bedroom can also be used as a private study."
The Elderberry is a daylight-basement design and has five bedrooms, including one on the lower level that has a walk-in closet and adjacent bath. The kitchen has an island for added seating and prep space, and an outdoor deck accessed from the dining room provides an ideal spot for dining alfresco. In addition, the master bedroom has two walk-in closets.
The fourth home is a presale home that will feature the Crescent design. It has formal living and dining rooms and includes a kitchen island and butler's pantry. "This is a great home for entertaining, with both formal and informal spaces," Ham says. "The master suite encompasses nearly half of the top floor and includes space for a sitting area."
The Crescent home's buyer can work with Hazelwood's project manager to personalize the space to match their needs.
All four homes include hardwood flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, five-piece master baths with soaking tubs, gas fireplaces and attached two-car garages.
The Hazelwood community features 5.5 acres of protected green space and two parks — one with a basketball court and another with a play structure. A trail at the back of the community connects to the 10.9-mile Sammamish River Trail, which runs from Bothell to Marymoor Park and connects with the Burke-Gilman Trail.
The collection of homes is located within walking distance of an elementary school, as well as PCC Natural Markets and Starbucks. Redmond Town Center, Marymoor Park and the Microsoft campus are also nearby.
Hazelwood is built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company. Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice. Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC — which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years — expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
