NEWCASTLE — According to Sales Manager Stephanie Shurtliff, "serene" is the best word to describe Newcastle Vista, a hilltop neighborhood of 13 four- to six-bedroom homes.
"Newcastle Vista is an enclave of homes nestled on the edge of the established China Creek neighborhood," she says. "When you visit, it's not uncommon to find people out and about, walking around, enjoying the environment. It's very peaceful. There are a lot of stately trees and lush landscaping in the surrounding neighborhood, and the homes in the area are very well maintained."
Thanks to the community's location above Newcastle, the homes will offer sunset, lake and cityscape views.
"In addition to the shared views within the neighborhood, select homes will also have lovely views of the Golf Club at Newcastle and southern Lake Washington," Shurtliff says. "Newcastle Vista is surrounded on three sides by nearly 13 acres of protected greenbelt with a trail connecting to the city of Newcastle's trail system."
Newcastle Vista is under construction, and four of the homes have been sold. The neighborhood has one entrance, which creates an intimate feel. Built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company, the homes are being sold from the sales center of its sister community, Belvedere.
"Belvedere is about 10 minutes from the site of Newcastle Vista," Shurtliff says. "We have all of the available floor plans at the sales center. You can also make an appointment to visit onsite.
"Our new homeowners love the cul-de-sac feel of the neighborhood, and the designs we have in this collection are some of our finest. The homes have good-size homesites — they range in size from just under 8,000 square feet to just over 18,000 square feet."
Shurtliff says the range in homesite sizes allows for a diverse mix of home styles.
"Our Putvin plan is approximately 5,600 square feet and features an amazing spiral staircase at the entry of the home," she says. "Another plan, the Jefferson, is perfect for homeowners who want something a little smaller — it's approximately 3,600 square feet. It has a great backyard that backs to the greenbelt and the trail system."
Presale homebuyers have the opportunity to choose from the builder's array of finish options.
"There is still time to personalize your home — you get to work one-on-one with our project manager and an interior designer to make the home your own," Shurtliff says. "Buyers are excited about getting to build their homes from the ground up — they've gotten very creative. For many buyers, it's not their first house, so they know what they are looking for in terms of interior finishes and materials. Rather than look for a resale home that meets their long list of specifications, they can choose to create their own look here, from very traditional to more contemporary."
The neighborhood is located in the Issaquah School District and is near the Coal Creek Parkway corridor for easy commutes to Bellevue or Seattle.
