FEDERAL WAY — A grand-opening event is planned on Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wynstone East, a community of four- and five-bedroom homes under construction across from the King County Aquatic Center.
Visitors can be among the first to tour the community's professionally decorated model home. Food from Dante's Inferno Dogs will be served, and a kids' coloring contest and other activities are planned.
Built by Lennar, Wynstone East is located just off Southwest Campus Drive and is adjacent to the popular BPA Trail. The community is connected by foot or bike paths to a network of parks, including Centennial Park.
"Lennar is proud to offer its first new community in Federal Way," says Greg McGuff, the builder's regional president. "We know local buyers will love our generous homes and our highest level of 'Everything's Included' features."
Homes at Wynstone East will include fully fenced and landscaped yards; stainless steel kitchen appliances, including side-by-side refrigerators and gas cooktops; slab granite kitchen countertops; window blinds; and hardwood floors.
Homes also come with Nexia Home Intelligence systems, which include remote/keypad deadlock entry, light dimming and programmable thermostat control.
Priced from the mid-$300,000s, the homes at Wynstone East will be available in five styles that range in size from 2,778 to 3,975 square feet. The homes include great-room-style layouts, three or more baths, recreation rooms, lofts, dens and bonus rooms.
