BOTHELL — According to Julie Selmikeit, homebuyers looking for a place to relax and recharge will find it at King's Corner.

"King's Corner was designed to help homeowners recharge their batteries and take a break from it all," says Selmikeit, the community sales manager. "Cozy, quiet lofts and luxurious master bathrooms offer a soothing oasis from the pressure of the day, while easy access to local parks, shopping and restaurants means that entertainment is never far from home."

Model homes are open this weekend, so prospective buyers can tour floor plans by Woodley Architectural Group and see homesites that are designed to maximize the natural landscape.

"The incredible location is the first thing that our homebuyers fall in love with," Selmikeit says. "This is a walkable neighborhood with a beautiful park, as well as an abundance of stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our homebuyers feel like everything they need is within reach."

King's Corner is located minutes from Mill Creek Town Center and Alderwood Mall. Commuters will find nearby access to Interstates 5 and 405.

The 86 homes at King's Corner are being built by Quadrant Homes. Several of the community's 10 floor plans include upper-floor lofts and spaces for built-in desks and bookshelves. Expansive windows fill living spaces with natural light.

King's Corner homebuyers can utilize the builder's Built Your Way program, which offers a variety of design options. Buyers can visit the Quadrant Homes Design Studio to select appliances and other features.

"Buyers really love getting to make their home their own with Quadrant's Built Your Way program," Selmikeit says. "We see people's eyes light up when they start personalizing their home, whether that means adding an island to the kitchen or redesigning the bathroom."

Master-bath customizations are popular at King's Corner, she says. Choices include walk-in showers and freestanding spa-style soaking tubs.

A walking trail leads from the community to the 40-acre Tambark Creek Park, which includes playgrounds, an athletic field and an off-leash dog park. The community also has its own park and playground, which Selmikeit says are ideal spots for a family picnic.

Quadrant is offering a 3.75 percent interest rate on select homes when buyers close by Dec. 30.
