Hilltop collection offers personalization options

NEWCASTLE — When Brandon and Heather Witz decided to move, they found their new home just 500 yards up the hill.

The Newcastle residents have purchased one of the 13 homes under construction at Newcastle Vista. Brandon Witz says the location "offers an inspiring view" of the area.

"Newcastle Vista's views of Lake Washington and Bellevue are something I wanted and don't have in our current home," he says.

The move will provide the Witzes with a one-of-a-kind home in the neighborhood.

"Before buying our home in August, we had been working for six to eight months with the [construction] team at Newcastle Vista to find the right floor plan," Witz says. "The one we settled on is the only one of its kind in the neighborhood. It met all of our requirements.

"The sales team and project manager have been great. They worked with us to find a plan that fits our needs and is more upscale than our current home."

Stephanie Schuessler, the sales manager at Newcastle Vista, says five of the 13 homes have been sold.

"We've been busy — the neighborhood is really coming together," she says. "We have our first closing expected in December. Because the homes are being sold presale or in the initial stages of construction, homebuyers can personalize their spaces at the [builder's] design studio."

Newcastle Vista's homes are nestled into the established China Creek neighborhood. They are in a cul-de-sac , so there is little outside traffic.

"Newcastle Vista features a westerly outlook, and some of the homes will offer views of The Golf Club at Newcastle and south Lake Washington," Schuessler says. "The neighborhood on three sides [backs to] nearly 13 acres of protected greenbelt, and an adjacent trail leads to the city of Newcastle's extensive trail system."

Available home designs include up to six bedrooms. Most have fully finished basements and oversize bonus rooms that can be transformed into in-home theaters or game rooms.

Additional options include a main-floor guest bedroom with en suite, a two-story great room, and decks that extend living space. Homes also include two- to four-car garages.
Newcastle Vista is located near Coal Creek Parkway, which offers connections to Bellevue and Interstate 405.

"We love the area," Witz says. "Newcastle is a small community, but we can get to [Seattle or Bellevue] in 10 to 15 minutes if we want to. We couldn't imagine living anywhere else."

Built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company, the homes at Newcastle Vista are being sold from the sales center at the builder's Belvedere community, which is located approximately 10 minutes away in Bellevue.

Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice. Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC — which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years — expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
