KIRKLAND — A second phase of presale homes has been released in a cul-de-sac at the Lakeview Lane community. In addition, six homes remain for sale in the first phase.
"The five new homes are in a private setting and have their own entry off 108th Avenue Northeast," says Windermere Real Estate's David Liddle, the listing agent at Lakeview Lane. "One of the homes is currently available for sale. We're introducing completely new home designs in this second phase. Of the five homes, there will be three different floor plans, so the neighborhood streetscape will be very distinctive."
Lakeview Lane's first phase includes 29 three- to five-bedroom homes. Its new model home recently opened and features sunset and lake views.
"The views from the master suite are spectacular," Liddle says. "The model is an attached home and has a unique, modern design. It's very distinguished looking, with elements that remind me of Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie-style houses.
"The interior is very open and flowing, and the finishes include contemporary materials like Caesarstone countertops, chic lighting fixtures, streamlined cabinetry and hardwoods throughout most of the main living level. It also has a covered deck."
The remaining homes in the first phase are under construction, and buyers could move in as early as January, Liddle says. They include both freestanding and duplex designs and feature professionally maintained yards.
Designs include the four-bedroom, two-story Jeffers floor plan, which has a master suite with a private balcony, and a front porch accessed from the great room through multiple sets of French doors. The three-story Norway floor plan has a private bedroom with bath on the lower level, and an entertainment-size kitchen that includes an island with seating for five.
Those who purchase a presale home can personalize their spaces with the assistance of a professional designer at CamWest's design studio in downtown Kirkland. Thousands of options are available to outfit the homes at Lakeview Lane.
Lakeview Lane is located in the Lake Washington School District and is surrounded by parks, including Houghton Beach Park, Marsh Park and Peter Kirk Park. The neighborhood is within walking distance of Metropolitan Market, PCC Natural Markets and a variety of restaurants.
"We're also less than half a mile from Google's Kirkland's offices, and the Microsoft campus is a short, non-highway commute away," Liddle says.
Lakeview Lane is being built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company. Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice.
Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC — which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years — expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
