MOUNT VERNON — Five homes remain for sale at Montreaux, a community of stand-alone homes for adults ages 55 or older. The homes include fully maintained yards in the front and back.
"This is exactly what downsizers are looking for in a new home — great rooms, lovely finishes and special touches," says Rebecca Ungar, the community sales manager. "These homes are selling quickly, with 22 sales this year, and the builder is offering a special bonus on our last five homes."
Remaining designs at Montreaux include the Harbor plan, which has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,691 square feet of living space. There is a vaulted ceiling in the great room and an oversize pantry. The 2,400-square-foot Orcas plan features a master suite, office and great room on the main level, and a loft, guest rooms and a bathroom upstairs.
"Both homes offer the perfect solution for anyone looking for their 'forever home,' " Ungar says. "The homes are built with extra-wide doors and hallways. Both plans come with two-car garages that feature tons of storage above."
The homes were built by Landed Gentry Homes and Communities, a family-owned company that has been building homes for more than 30 years. Features include slab granite countertops, hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances and finished garages.
"Our clients are accustomed to owning a quality home," says Kendra Gentry-Decker, vice president of Landed Gentry Homes. "When it comes to downsizing, they are looking to reduce burdensome maintenance and square footage, not quality. We offer a high-quality home with the attention to detail they have become comfortable with and the low maintenance they desire."
Homebuyers at Montreaux can personalize flooring, cabinetry, lighting, and kitchen and bathroom packages through Landed Gentry's design showroom.
Montreaux is located next to Eaglemont Golf Course, and grocery stores and medical facilities are nearby. The community features views of Mount Baker and the Cascade foothills.
The community offers easy access to Interstate 5 and is 3 miles from Skagit Valley Hospital and Skagit Valley College.
