REDMOND — As its name suggests, Parkridge at The Woodlands is a tranquil retreat that beckons homeowners outdoors to enjoy their natural surroundings.
The community of three- to five-bedroom homes includes 3 acres of protected greenbelt, meandering trails, multiple parks and towering heritage trees.
Built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company, Parkridge at The Woodlands is located in Redmond's Education Hill area. Of the 51 homes planned at the community, the final 19 are for sale.
"We have two homes that are move-in ready and can close by the end of the year, as well as some that are nearing completion and will be ready for move-in in the first quarter of next year," says John L. Scott's Jamie Ham, the listing agent at Parkridge at The Woodlands. "We also have presale homes, so there are still some great opportunities for buyers to personalize their new homes."
Buyers can select from among 18 floor plans. The homes that are move-in ready feature the five-bedroom Sequoia and Newport designs.
"The three-story Sequoia has a spacious kitchen with a walk-in pantry and white painted cabinetry," Ham says. "And upstairs is a huge third-floor loft space."
The home also includes a formal living room, as well as a dining room with a two-story ceiling that adds light to the space.
While the Sequoia floor plan has both formal and informal entertaining spaces, the Newport offers a great-room design.
"It has a nice, open kitchen that flows into the dining room and family room," Ham says. "On the main level, there is a bedroom that can be used for guests or extended family; adjacent to the bedroom is a full bath. Upstairs there is a large, open bonus room, and the master suite has dual closets.
"This particular home is across the street from one of the neighborhood parks, and on a clear day you can see the Cascade Mountains from the second floor," he says.
Both of the homes include hardwood flooring, slab granite countertops in the kitchens, and an abundance of windows throughout.
While Parkridge at The Woodlands offers a retreat-like setting, it is close to a variety of activities in Redmond. They include jogging and horseback riding on the city's extensive trail systems, enjoying a concert at nearby Marymoor Park and shopping at Redmond Town Center.
The location offers convenient access to Highway 202, Interstate 405 and state Route 520. The Microsoft campus is less than 4 miles away, and Google's Kirkland offices are less than 8 miles away.
Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice. Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC — which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years — expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
