BOTHELL — Fifteen homes remain for sale at Kimura Gardens, a collection of 70 three- to five-bedroom homes located between Bothell's historic downtown and Mill Creek Town Center.
According to listing agent Kelly Nutt, the remaining homes include some of the neighborhood's prime locations and favorite floor plans, including two-story bungalows and larger, contemporary styles.
"We only have five two-story bungalow homes remaining, and four of those are our last greenbelt homes," Nutt says. "Those four also border a walking trail and a park for a gorgeous, garden-like setting."
"Only two Liberty floor plans remain. It's one of our contemporary home designs and one of our more popular floor plans. It has a nice, big great-room concept with a large kitchen and a second-floor master suite with tons of space and a huge walk-in closet."
Built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company, homes under construction can be ready for move-in next month. Interiors feature large windows to draw in natural light, classic white-painted trim and built-in niches to accommodate oversized furniture or artwork.
Homebuyers can also personalize interior spaces through the builder's design studio.
"Five of the remaining homes are being sold completely presale," Nutt says. "The design studio allows you to work with a professional designer to choose from thousands of finishes to outfit your home in your own personal style."
Homeowners can also choose from three backyard packages: Fresh-to-Your-Table Gourmet Garden, Pacific Northwest Zen Garden, and Clean and Green Outdoor Fireplace.
The Gourmet Garden features a raised planter bed for growing fresh herbs and vegetables. The Zen Garden includes a soothing water feature with rock outcropping. The Fireplace package offers a propane-fueled fire pit for year-round entertaining.
Nutt says Kimura Gardens is a "rare find" for its emphasis on outdoor environments that are as engaging as the interior spaces. "It's unusual to find a community of this size with the backyard designs and our parks, trails and greenbelt surroundings," Nutt says.
"It's a very quiet, relaxed neighborhood, and the beauty here is year-round," he says. "Plus, the yards are maintained for you, so you actually have the opportunity to enjoy the neighborhood amenities, rather than spending [your time] working in the yard."
Kimura Gardens is located in the Northshore School District, approximately 2 miles from I-405. Nearby conveniences include the shops and services at Thrashers Corner, Canyon Park, downtown Bothell and Mill Creek.
"This is a great community to call home, with people from all stages in life: young professionals, families, first-time homebuyers, downsizers," Nutt says. "We hosted a holiday party at the model home for the homeowners, and you could see the wonderful community bond that has developed here."
Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice. Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC -- which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years -- expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
