SAMMAMISH — Kathi Lehr began scouting out her new home at Shorelane Vistas a year and a half ago, before it was even on the market.

"I saw the neighborhood and thought, 'This is beautiful — this is where I'd like to live,' " Lehr says. "So I contacted the agent, Anne McIntosh, and became the first person on her interest list. She showed me the neighborhood map and I visited many times.

"I'm looking for aesthetics, nature and harmony to come home to. My home is now being built, and I look forward to being part of this community."

Located across the street from Lake Sammamish, the neighborhood will include 38 four- to six-bedroom homes, all sited to maximize sunset and water views.

"We've had great sales success," McIntosh says. "We had five sales in January, and I'm working on several more. We are in such a unique location — we're the only new community with views like ours — and we're surrounded by amenities.

"The community is really taking form, and homeowners will start moving in this month. Interested buyers are seeing the flurry of activity and the sold signs going up, and they're realizing that time is running out. They need to move quickly if they want to secure the home of their dreams," she says.

Today and Sunday from noon-5 p.m., Shorelane Vistas is hosting hard-hat tours of the neighborhood's model home, which is under construction. The home will feature the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath Frazier floor plan. The three-story home will have an abundance of windows to fill the interior with natural light.

The Frazier floor plan has two gas fireplaces — one in the family room and another in the dining room. For entertaining, the home includes a formal living room off the entry, as well as a deck at the front of the home that takes full advantage of lake views.

On the lower level of the home is a bedroom, three-quarter bath and bonus room. The master suite and two additional bedrooms are located on the top floor.

Shorelane Vistas is being built by CamWest, a Toll Brothers company. In addition to the Frazier designs, the builder is offering 11 floor plans in a variety of architectural styles, including Craftsman, Tudor and shingle.

The homes are being sold presale, which allows homebuyers to work with the builder's design studio to select various interior features. Those who purchase a home today through Monday are eligible to receive substantial savings on home upgrades as part of Toll Brothers' national sales event. Additional information is available from the site agent.

Shorelane Vistas is located near Interstate 90 and Microsoft's Sammamish campus. Also nearby is Lake Sammamish State Park, which offers 512 acres of trails, sports courts, playgrounds and more.

Toll Brothers was named 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, becoming the first builder to win the honor twice. Its purchase of CamWest Development, LLC — which has been building homes locally for more than 20 years — expanded the company's reach to the Pacific Northwest.
