LYNNWOOD — Brexton Place, an intimate collection of eight homes, opens for sales this weekend.
The community is located southeast of Alderwood Mall, and is within walking distance of Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble, and other popular shops and restaurants.
"This is a phenomenal location," says Larry Sundquist, the president of Sundquist Homes, which is building Brexton Place. "We're less than five minutes from Interstate 5, then I-405 is only one exit to the north. You're at an advantage, regardless of the direction you're headed: south to Seattle, north to Everett or east to Bellevue."
Homebuyers at Brexton Place can choose from three floor plans: the Belvoir, the Ashford and the Dalton. "This is a great opportunity to purchase one of our best-selling home designs," Sundquist says.
The Belvoir design is a 3,228-square-foot three-bedroom, three-bath home with a two-car garage. The home includes a formal dining room and informal family room on the main level, and a den is located off the entry.
The kitchen includes an island, a pantry for added storage and a centralized computer desk. "It's a great space to hang out in before dinner," Sundquist says.
Upstairs are four bedrooms, plus an oversize bonus space that can be used as a media/game room.
The 2,798-square-foot Ashford design is a four-bedroom, three-bath home with a three-car garage. In addition to both formal and informal living spaces on the main level and a den off the entry, it features a main-floor guest suite with adjacent three-quarter bath. Upstairs are a master suite, three additional bedrooms and a bonus space that is accessed by French doors.
"I'm really proud of this design," Sundquist says. "It's a wider home, so we don't have the chance to build this one as often. When we do, it's a great opportunity for homebuyers. There's a wonderful sense of arrival with a large entry foyer, and a formal space on the main level that can be used as a living room or dining room, depending on how you like to entertain.
"Having a private bedroom on the first floor is perfect for anyone who needs single-level access or for out-of-town guests who want their own private space," he says.
The third design available at Brexton Place is the 2,502-square-foot Dalton plan. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home includes a three-car garage and covered front porch. The great-room design includes a flex room off the entry and a bonus room upstairs.
All of the homes include gas fireplaces in the family rooms, five-piece master baths with soaking tubs, and second-floor laundry rooms.
"You can move in as early as July, and you still have time to personalize your spaces to your own tastes," Sundquist says. "Brexton Place is a great address — there aren't a lot of homes this size that are being built in this area, especially at our pricing. With only eight homes available, they won't be on the market long."
