REDMOND — Brookside at The Woodlands is a collection of 22 four- to six-bedroom homes being built less than 8 miles from Microsoft's Redmond campus and less than 7 miles from Google's Kirkland offices.

Initially, the sales staff will work from the nearby Parkridge at The Woodlands sales office; both neighbor-hoods are built by Toll Brothers. A special event is planned this weekend at the sales center.

Homebuyers at Brookside at The Woodlands can choose from seven home designs, including two-story and three-story plans. Eleven of the 22 homes at Brookside at The Woodlands will back up to a protected greenbelt that borders the neighborhood. Two parks and a trail will also be located in the community.
"Homebuyers have responded well to our floor plans," Ham says. "They feature an abundance of windows for an open and bright feel. The rooms have a nice flow, creating a warm, welcoming environment."
Depending on the plan, homes may include daylight basements with lower-level bedroom suites and rec rooms; main-level guest bedrooms; second-floor bonus rooms; two-story formal dining rooms; and oversize master suites with dual walk-in closets or sitting areas.
Five homes are available for sale, and each one has a different floor plan, Ham says.
The five-bedroom Sequoia plan has a covered wrap-around front porch, a formal living room and a two-story dining room, as well as a main-floor guest room and informal family room.
The Newport and Adams designs also have five bedrooms and feature main-floor guest rooms and second-floor bonus rooms.
The four-bedroom Chelan III plan has a formal living room and a two-story dining room. The four-bedroom Shaw has a butler's pantry and an oversize family room.
The homes are being sold presale, and buyers can personalize their spaces by working with a professional designer at the builder's Design Studio in Kirkland.
The Design Studio features idea-inspiring vignettes and a range of finish options, including 1,400 carpet colors, 325 wood finishes and 147 tile styles. Homebuyers can choose window coverings, appliances, plumbing, flooring, countertops, cabinet colors and more.
"It's a one-stop shop to outfit your home to fit your own personal style," says Ham.
Highway 202 is located nearby for commutes to downtown Kirkland or Microsoft's Redmond campus. The community is less than 2.5 miles from Redmond's Bella Bottega Shopping Center, which includes a QFC grocery store, Mud Bay pet store and Regal Bella Bottega Stadium 11 movie theater.
