BOTHELL — Three homes remain for sale at Kimura Gardens, a collection of 70 three- or four-bedroom homes. The community has a natural setting with walking trails, greenbelts and multiple parks.
"We have two homes that are complete and ready for immediate move-ins, and a third is being sold presale," says Kelly Nutt, the listing agent at Kimura Gardens.
One of the completed homes is the community's model, which features the Cottonwood floor plan. The four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home has a Craftsman-style exterior.
A front porch opens to a parlor area that can be used as a den or formal entertaining space.
The home includes all appliances, including a refrigerator, washer and dryer, Nutt says.
"The home has an oversize kitchen and dining space with slab granite countertops, full-height backsplash and dark-stained cabinetry," he says. "Adjacent to the kitchen is the informal great room, which is especially bright, thanks to an abundance of windows. Upstairs is the master-bedroom retreat, which has its own sitting area."
The other completed home has the three-bedroom, 2.5-bath Snowberry floor plan, which features a Colonial architectural style. Beyond the entry, there is a dining room and informal family room to the left, and a kitchen to the right.
"The home has two patios: one accessed off the kitchen so that you can enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee al fresco, and a second off the great room," Nutt says. "The main living level features hardwood floors throughout, and the kitchen has slab granite countertops and light, almond-finished cabinetry."
The third home is a presale and will feature the three-bedroom Iris floor plan. The two-story bungalow-style home will back to a greenbelt.
The Iris' main living level features a private office off the entry. An open great room looks out over the native protected space through oversize windows.
"Because the home is being sold presale, homebuyers can personalize their spaces with the help of a professional designer," Nutt says. "You'll be able to choose everything from lighting fixtures to flooring and countertops."
Built by Toll Brothers, the homes at Kimura Gardens include fully maintained yards.
Backyards include one of three different landscaping packages: Fresh-to-Your-Table Gourmet Garden, Pacific Northwest Zen Garden, and Clean and Green Outdoor Fireplace. The Gourmet Garden features a raised planter bed for growing fresh herbs and vegetables. The Zen Garden includes a soothing water feature with rock outcropping. The Fireplace package offers a no-mess propane-fueled fire pit for year-round entertaining.
"The Cottonwood has the Clean and Green Outdoor Fireplace, while the Snowberry has the Fresh-to-Your-Table Gourmet Garden," Nutt says. "For the presale home, you can choose any of the three packages."
Kimura Gardens is approximately 2 miles from Interstate 405. Nearby conveniences include the shops and services at Thrashers Corner, Canyon Park, downtown Bothell and Mill Creek.
