Open noon–6 p.m. daily at 5001 70th Place S.W., Mukilteo

MUKILTEO — Summer is the perfect season at Westbrook Ridge, says Kelly Nutt, the community's listing agent.

"With the sparkling waters of the Puget Sound below and the profile of the Olympic Mountain range in the distance, it's absolutely stunning up here," he says. "You can watch the ferries sailing to and from Whidbey Island and the sailboats skimming along the water. This community highlights everything that makes living in the Pacific Northwest so rewarding."

Toll Brothers, the builder at Westbrook Ridge, is offering homebuyers an upgraded appliance package, including refrigerator, washer and dryer, as well as other incentives on interior finishes for homes purchased by July 27.

Ten of the 22 three- to five-bedroom homes at Westbrook Ridge remain for sale. The community backs to a 1-acre greenbelt for added privacy.

Nutt says Westbrook Ridge is the only new-home community in Mukilteo that offers westerly water views. "We still have homes for sale that have water views," he says.

There is one move-in-ready home for sale, and two other homes will be ready for move-in within the next few months. Each one has a different floor plan and architectural design, Nutt says.

The completed home features the two-story, three-bedroom Shaw design. It has a formal living room and dining room, and a walk-through butler pantry for special occasions. The kitchen opens to an informal family room, and the backyard can be accessed from the breakfast nook. There is an open game room at the top of the stairs, and the master suite has two walk-in closets.

The two homes due for completion soon feature the Adams and Georgia floor plans.

The five-bedroom Adams design has a formal living room and dining room. A guest room off the family room has an adjacent three-quarter bath. Upstairs, French doors lead into the master suite, which has a tray ceiling and a sitting area for a quiet retreat.

The five-bedroom Georgia floor plan also has a main-level guest room. The home's great-room design includes a kitchen with a walk-in pantry and an island with seating for three.

"[The home] has two closets in the master suite, and an open bonus room serves as a central gathering space between the second-floor bedrooms," Nutt says. "It also has a three-car garage."

Presale opportunities are available for homebuyers who wish to personalize their spaces before their home is built.

"You can work one-on-one with a professional designer at the builder's design studio in Kirkland," Nutt says. "There, you can select everything from flooring and cabinetry to countertops and lighting packages."

For families with school-age children, a paved pathway leads from Westbrook Ridge to the nearby elementary and junior high schools. In addition, the Mukilteo ferry terminal is less than 2 miles away.

"Mukilteo is a charming seaside town," Nutt says. "Every Wednesday during the summer is the Farmers Market, at Lighthouse Park along the water. The community also has events like Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival and the Waterfront Arts Festival. But you're also so close to the urban amenities of Seattle and Everett. It's the best of all worlds."
