TUMWATER — The Preserve at Tumwater Place is the first of several new-home communities planned in the Puget Sound area by Benchmark Communities.

Homebuyers can select from eight one- and two-story floor plans within the builder's Bainbridge and Blakely collections. They include up to five bedrooms and from 1,553 to 3,277 square feet of living space.

All of the homes feature open island kitchens, indoor/outdoor living spaces, two- to four-car garages and an array of standard finishes. Buyers can select from a variety of customization options.

Several homes are available for quick move-in at The Preserve at Tumwater Place. There is also a designer-decorated model home open daily for tours.

The community will include open spaces, parks and trails. Shopping options are available nearby.

Benchmark Communities is also planning new-home communities in Sammamish, Auburn, Carnation and Lacey.
