REDMOND — Brookside at The Woodlands is a collection of 22 four- to six-bedroom homes under construction in the Education Hill area.
"This is a premier address," says Jamie Ham, an agent with John L. Scott Real Estate. "More than half of the homesites at Brookside at The Woodlands back up to a greenbelt for added privacy and a peaceful outlook."
Brookside's two-story and basement homes are being presold from the model home of its nearby sister community, Parkridge at The Woodlands. Eight of the homes are available for sale, including three that will be ready for move-in this year.
A home that features the five-bedroom Adams design is scheduled for completion in October. The main level includes both formal and informal living spaces, as well as a private guest room with adjacent bath for out-of-town guests or multigenerational families.
On the second floor, the master retreat features a tray ceiling and an extended sitting area. An open bonus room serves as an ideal space for playing game or watching movies. The home also has a covered front porch.
Also scheduled for completion in October is a four-bedroom home featuring the Chelan III design. It has a wraparound front porch that opens up to a two-story dining room. A living room at the front of the home is well-suited for formal entertaining, and a family room adjacent to the kitchen invites casual gatherings.
Just outside the second-floor master suite is an alcove overlooking the dining room that offers a quiet spot to relax.
The four-bedroom Shaw design will be available for move-in by the end of the year. The home's entry opens to the living and dining rooms, as well as a butler's pantry. The kitchen includes a breakfast nook for casual meals and adjoins an open family room that features a gas fireplace.
Upstairs, an oversize master retreat has two walk-in closets and a master bath with a deep soaking tub.
Other home designs for sale include daylight basements with lower-level bedroom suites and rec rooms, as well as extras such as built-ins and niches.
The welcoming neighborhood also features a protected greenbelt, two parks and a trail.
Homebuyers who purchase a presale home can outfit their spaces to suit their own individual tastes. At the builder's design studio in Kirkland, homebuyers can work with professional designers to select their finishes, colors, lighting fixtures and window coverings.
Highway 202 is located nearby for commutes to downtown Kirkland or Microsoft's Redmond campus. The community is less than 2.5 miles from Redmond's Bella Bottega Shopping Center, which includes a QFC grocery store and the Regal Bella Bottega Stadium 11 movie theater.
