Hybrid Lambos?
Lamborghini's CEO Stephan Winkelmann has suggested that the future of the Italian supercar manufacturer will include hybrid models, both in an effort to boost power and to comply with ever-stricter emissions regulations in Europe and North America. However a fully electric Lamborghini is out of the question, he says.

Volvo plug-in
Volvo is planning to show a plug-in C30 coupe at its Innovation for Life event next month. The company unveiled a plug-in hybrid concept two years ago called the ReCharge (right), which is visually similar to the new plug-in. The C30 reportedly will have about 130 miles of range and will go into production in 2012.
