Nearly 22,000 people in North America have contacted Nissan since it unveiled the zero-emissions car in August. The company says it hopes to have at least 20,000 reservations by the time the car is released in late 2010 in limited markets, including Seattle. Nissan will be touring the car across the U.S. beginning next month in Los Angeles.
