Sorry, a Pinto or Vega were made in America too, but I wouldn't own one, let alone collect two. I owned a Hornet in 1977 for a brief time and thought it was nothing but a rusted can rolling on wheels.

I clicked on the link because I had a co-worker in Seattle who collected Pacers (a pregnant roller skate by AMC). Maybe there's something in that Puget Sound water . . .
While it's not for me (I just buy a new Corolla every 300,000 miles. I once owned two Vegas, and I've learned), it's nice that someone is preserving a bit of American auto history. Nicer still that he (seems to) use them as daily drivers.

A really nice looking car. It has destinctive lines and a pleasant appearance. I can undestand why that the ownder has colleted them.
I don't think comparing it to a Vega or Pinto is a good comparison. The guy who did below, said his put down was in his "humble opinion". It didn't come off as humble, just a jerk who has to say crappy things to others for some unknown I'm f'd reason.
